about 2 months agoLucy Lu's was absolutely adorable! Way more spacious than I expected for a hobbit house. It was so magical! The bed was very comfortable and the couch was a big comfy spot to relax in. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious. We felt secluded in our little hide out with views of the woods right outside our door. The round hobbit door was a big hit with the kids and the real size door was nice to bring our stuff in and out. The fire pit was perfect for just hanging out on the cooler night. The structure was very sturdy and clearly well made with many thoughtful touches everywhere. Ample outlets inside and out. The only negative i can even think of was the shower water pressure but we were only there for one night so that wasn't a big deal at all. Definitely a memorable stay that we'll talk about fondly for years

3 months agoI booked this as a surprise for my boyfriend who is a big Lord of the Rings fan.We really enjoyed the atmosphere, the area surrounding the Hobbit Hole, and the close proximity to Charlotte. Would recommend this to others!

6 months agoThis was such a perfect weekend getaway! Stayed here after the Carolina Renaissance Faire - it’s about a 30 min drive and kept with the theme - very sweet, Hobbit cottage-esque, and private! Cutest peaceful little nook off the beaten path. Still close enough to town for any food and necessities. Definitely hope to make another trip out here!

7 months agoWe had a good stay. It was one of those things, you see it and you want to try it. I did see actual tree houses I’d like to try sometime. I would recommend pillow up grades and some attention to the plumbing. But overall, was adequate.
